Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Harbourstone. By using the service you agree to them. If you use AI features, you also agree to the additional obligations in §5.

1. Eligibility

Harbourstone is offered to organisations and their authorised users in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. You must be authorised by your organisation to use it. You may not use the service if you are located in, or are making it available to users in, any region excluded by Anthropic’s terms (including Russia) when using AI features.

2. The service

Harbourstone is a tool to host, govern and visualise reports and dashboards — including optional AI-assisted regeneration of dashboard HTML. Harbourstone is a reporting and visualisation tool; its outputs are AI-assisted and human-reviewed and are not automated decisions or professional (financial, legal, medical, employment) advice.

3. Your content & responsibilities

• You retain ownership of the dashboards and data you upload. You grant us the rights needed to host and process them to provide the service.
• You are responsible for having the rights and lawful basis to upload your content and, where you use AI features, to send it to the Claude API.
• You must not upload unlawful content, malware, or content you are not permitted to share; and you must not include personal data without a lawful basis.

4. Acceptable use

Your use must comply with our Acceptable Use Policy. We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

5. AI features & Anthropic pass-through

• You will not use AI outputs to make, or substantially automate, high-risk decisions (e.g. financial eligibility/creditworthiness, employment/hiring, insurance) without meaningful human review and appropriate disclosure.
• You will not attempt to misuse, jailbreak, scrape, or distil the underlying model, or use it to generate prohibited content.
• AI outputs may be inaccurate or incomplete. You are responsible for reviewing them before relying on or publishing them.

6. Intellectual property

Harbourstone and its software are owned by us. “Claude” and “Anthropic” are trademarks of Anthropic, PBC; we use them only to describe interoperability and claim no affiliation or endorsement.

7. Disclaimers & liability

The service and AI outputs are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability is limited to the total fees you paid for the service in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. Nothing limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

8. Indemnity

You will indemnify us against claims arising from your content or your misuse of the service or AI features, including any breach of Anthropic’s Usage Policy.

9. Term, changes & law

Either party may terminate per the applicable order/agreement. We may update these terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and disputes are subject to the competent courts of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Contact: legal@harbourstone.kz.
